SOUTH AFRICA - Cape Town - Law Enforcement Training Day (Video) (oBS)

South Africa - Cape Town - 28 January 2020 - The Executive Mayor Alderman Dan Plato and Mayoral Committee Member for Safety and Security, Alderman JP Smith, inspected training sessions by Learner Law Enforcement Officers. The training focused on Stop-and-Search, which is an important aspect of crime prevention. The training is part of the City’s Law Enforcement Advancement Plan, which includes a phased- in programme and induction process which will ultimately see 500 officers joining the ranks of the City’s enforcement agencies within the next few months.
