SOUTH AFRICA - Cape Town - Signal Hill Fire (WwX)

Cape Town - 19028 - Felicia the tortoise, 60 years old, was bludgeoned with a hammer and Braam Malherbe (International Speaker, Extreme Adventurer and Conservationist) fixed her shell with fibreglass. Braam discovered her this morning and she was badly burnt on her feet and shell, she is currently on pain meds and anti-inflammatories. Firefighters battled numerous flare-ups on Lion's Head and Signal hill today, this comes after a blaze above Quarry Hill road spread in strong winds up and over the mountain, towards Fresnaye and Sea Point side. 2 helicopters once again assisted ground crews with multiple water bombings.
