On This Episode:

- A World Health Organization official says lockdowns are a bad idea. They are correct. You cannot shutdown society to save a society.

- Trump is excoriated for certain comments and Joe Biden can say just about anything he pleases. “The only way we lose this is by the chicanery going on with regard to polling places.” Is that not accusing opponents of attempting to mess with the election?

- A new Twitter policy says that people on Twitter, including candidates for offie, may not claim an election win before it is authoritatively called. From an authority such as The New York Times, no doubt.

The Big Story:
The Amy Coney Barrett SCOTUS confirmation hearing has begun with opening statements from the Senate Judiciary Committee. Mike Lee and Ben Sasse used their time to offer their Democrat colleagues a civics lesson, explaining separation of powers and checks and balances to their fellow committee members. Senator Whitehouse and other Democrats on the committee used their time craft the narrative that Amy Coney Barrett would be a “torpedo” for the Affordable Care Act.
