My attempt at making Pears Soap from a recipe on Soap Forums.

https://www.soapmakingforum.com/ Great people here.

Many thanks to Admin ISG for the recipe. Pears formula recipes are scarce on the ground. I hope I've done it justice.

Background:

Controversy:

It's ugly but every day it cures it gets better.
The most complex formula I have attempted to date.
I think I will shift down and go back to simpler recipes. It's expeensive and messy [fun though].
And yes, that is a Crock Pot I used to make the soap.
Hot process cooks the soap slurry until the lye is converted into the fats and makes soap.
Cold process goes into a mold, covered and cures as the lye integrates with the fats over a period of time.
Why Pears? It's a soap I have used for years and love. The fact it's been around for a couple of hundred years.... that's good too.
Bye from here.
Any tips, suggestions or video production wisdom [ I make better soap than video.... nothing to be especially proud about ], please feel free to comment.
