Free desks given to East Bakersfield Students in need

City Council member Andrae Gonzales along with BCSD and several local organizations are helping make sure students have desks to succeed with distance learning. IKEA donated the desks and volunteers helped assemble them. They were then distributed to school liaisons who will pass them along to students who can benefit from them.
