The Big Story:
Tim Scott was asked about the proud boys. I found his answer to be perfectly reasonable. However, a now-former-sports reporter did not and expressed his disagreement with bigoted name-calling. I abhor cancel culture. But being fired for bigotry is a different story. If sports broadcasters are going to participate in political punditry, they should expect to be treated like a political pundit.
