23ABC Weather for September 30, 2020

More hot weather is expected today, but highs should be a little lower than yesterday because the wildfire smoke is getting more dense, filtering out some sunshine and therefore preventing some of the heat. It's still about 10 degrees above average county wide with those mid to upper 90s in the valley, Kern River Valley and Kern Desert this afternoon. The south mountains of Tehachapi and Frazier Park are expecting mid-80s.
