Recognizing Milwaukee's Leaders at the Benjamin Franklin Awards
The mission of Milwaukee Public Library Foundation is to provide essential support through private contributions for books, materials, programs, and library facilities to ensure the Milwaukee Public Library's continued standing as a great library responsive to community needs. Each year, the Foundation recognizes Milwaukee leaders who have made significant contributions to our community and the pursuit of lifelong learning with the Benjamin Franklin Award. Ryan E. Daniels, the Executive Director, joins us to talk about the selection process for award winners, and how this event will benefit the services provided by the Milwaukee Public Library. This year's event will be held virtually Thursday, October 1, 2020 from 7:00-8:00pm via stream on YouTube. Register online at supportmpl.org or call 414-286-3784.
