According to the Chairman Mr Nkokheli Ncambela the allocation process is fraudulent. The Forest Village housing development in Eerste River. According to the Western Cape Government Website, Forest Village will deliver 2 654 fully subsidised Breaking New Ground (BNG) houses, 1 504 fully subsidised serviced sites, and 122 partially subsidised Finance Linked Individual Subsidy Houses (FLISP) houses, for a total of 4 280 housing opportunities. 1 645 BNG houses and 14 service sites, along with the 122 FLISP houses are reserved for residents of Ward 16 and Ward 17 who meet the qualification criteria for subsidised housing. 1 009 BNG units and 1 490 service sites are for beneficiaries from outside Ward 16 and Ward 17 who could not be accommodated in other projects of the N2 Gateway Phase 1 due to the limited number of opportunities.
