Backyard Birds Northern Cardinal’s male and female this is how I present the grapes to the fruit loving birds I also place some grapes on top of a table but the birds prefer a more natural approach and typically only eat off the table when the grapes in the potted hibiscus run out I’ll answer any questions anyone has that I may have information about even the long story of a baby Northern Cardinal that got stuck overnight in the very hibiscus the grapes are hanging from that night introduced us to actually really paying attention to our suburban surroundings and all of the actual bird activity it’s a lot of fun but we had to learn many things the hard way and at one point had huge parrots squawking at 6:00 am arguing over the seeds my neighbors were not too pleased with the large birds squawking and squealing at 6:00 am I do have some videos of these birds I’ll dig up and post later
