South Africa - Cape Town - 7 June 2020 - A multi-religion, silent protest was held on the steps of St George’s Cathedral in honour of those that have fallen due to police or army brutality and excessive force.  The names that were mentioned were George Floyd, Collins Khosa, Sibusiso Amos, and Adane Emmanuel amoung others. These are persons that have died as a direct result of police or military actions. Under the hashtag of #blacklivesmatter, the religious heads showed their support not only for this movement but also for the fight against racism and the continuing discrimination based on race.Video Courtney Africa/African News Agency(ANA) (H2r)
