South Africa - Cape Town - 12 February 2020 - The Cape Minstrels provide live music to guests. British High Commissioner to South Africa, HE Mr Nigel Casey, hosted a reception on the eve of the opening of the South African Parliament to celebrate the UK-South Africa relationship. At the event, the High Commissioner launched the UK in South Africa’s Road to COP26 campaign and announced a number of related activities in South Africa. This year’s event will underlined the seriousness of the shared threat faced from global climate change, and the importance of countries coming to Glasgow ready to raise their collective global ambitions to mitigate future devastating impacts.
