What Wondrous Love Is This

70x7's new arrangement of an old folk hymn, sung in Dorian mode, with a haunting melody and lyrics that express awe at the love of God. Sometimes described as a "white spiritual" from the American south, it was first published in 1811, during the Second Great Awakening.
