For the past 7 years Gerry Smeda brought the magic of Christmas to Cape Town by adorning the outside of his Kuilsriver home in Muller Street with a helicopter fashioned out of lights, vintage cars, a London telephone booth and a Santa’s home to bring back the cheer and magic of Christmas and to raise funds for the Tygerberg Children’s hospital.
