5 Miles of Hell (Trials Bike Perspective) Part 3 of 3
Part #3 of 3 of my first and only ride on the "5 Miles of Hell Trail" in Utah near Green River, UT
My friend Barca was acting as my tour guide since I believe this was his 3rd or 4th time riding this trail.
Part #1: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6rjYZ...
Part #2: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6jWbE...
As it turns out, the trail is actually 8 miles long, not counting the 4X4 Access to and from the trail loop. And as far as I'm concerned, it's name should be "The 8 Miles of Heaven Trail"
We were using Helmet Communicators and in the first 2 videos, I took the right hand helmet speaker and taped it outside of my helmet directly under the microphone hole on the Contour Sports Cam. But this time, I moved the camera from my helmet to the center of my knee joint where the camera would remain relatively level even as my boot and thigh would have been changing the camera angle up and down.
Trying to read the terrain for good tire placement while keeping track of the next paint mark was making things difficult. I saw so many better routes over solid rock but was committed to following the paint markers for this first ride.
My camera ran out of memory storage about 1-3/4 mile short of the finish, but the last mile was relatively simple and flat anyway.
