Is your Weston side step like this? - See why

Weston Platinum Oval Nerf bars / Side Rails / side steps fill with water over time and rust from the inside out. These were on my 2013 Toyota Tacoma.

This video shows how the water gets in and how much water I found in my rails after drilling a whole in them to dry them out. Some side rails manufacturers treat the inside of the tubing to prevent rust and also seal the tubes to keep water out. Apparently Weston does not. A poor design in my opinion.

I wanted to show these automotive problems so others can avoid them.
