Ramaphosa says SA needs consultation before signing the African free-trade deal (5eD)

SA President Cyril Ramaphosa briefs the media following the conclusion of the AU Extraordinary Summit in Kigali, Rwanda. Ramaphosa said that even though SA did not sign the continental free-trade agreement because there was still more consultation to be done, the country had pledged its full commitment to the treaty as he signed the declaration. He said that SA wants to open up trade in Africa because it was an important player in the continent.
