I Got My Tattoos Covered - Now I'm Scared To Look | HOOKED ON THE LOOK

A TEACHER who claims his body is ‘100% tattooed’ has covered his signature inkings for the day - to surprise his family. Sylvain Helaine, 35, from Palaiseau, Paris got his first tattoo when he was 27 years old whilst living in London, after feeling inspired by the expression of body modification in the capital. Over the next four years, Sylvain continued his ink-fuelled journey and now has tattoos covering his body, genitals, gums, feet, tongue and most recently got his eyeballs tattooed black. With the help of his friend and makeup artist Alexandra, Sylvain turned back time for the day and covered his tattoos in thick skin-coloured makeup - the process taking over two hours. Normally dressing in black hoodies, he chose to wear a white shirt and tie and cover his tattooed eyeballs with dark sunglasses. Sylvain said: “I’m still handsome, it’s just a different kind of handsomeness." Appearing as a 'regular' person, Sylvain walked into the cafe and gave his father, Alain, and sister, Brigitte, the shock of a lifetime. His father said: “It’s quite shocking to see you return to how you were before. But it suits you too." After the experience, Sylvain returned home and joyfully removed his makeup - once again becoming tattooed head-to-toe.
