Nevada election officials say recent postcards from the United States Postal Service have caused some confusion with mail-in voting requirements. If you have checked your mail recently, you have have noticed the postcard. It urges people to do a few things before election day in order to vote by mail. The postcard instructs voters to request a mail-in ballot 15 days before election day and to make sure the returned ballot has proper postage. Both of those items do not apply to Nevada.
