Grab a Ticket to this Year's Milwaukee Minority Health Film Festival!
Milwaukee Film is a nonprofit arts organization dedicated to entertaining, educating, and engaging our community through cinematic experiences, with a vision to make Milwaukee a center for film culture. Every year they host a film festival that attracts cineophiles from all over the state. However, like many events this year, they had to move the festival online. Now, movie lovers can watch over 50 films from home with the Minority Health Film Festival! The Minority Health Film Festival is different from past festivals since it highlights and brings awareness to issues faced by minority communities. The festival will focus on injustice, health, and the power that lies in the community, and sends positive messages of finding peace and equality. Over 50 films will be shown over the course of the festival starting September 10 and will go until September 24. We spoke to Geraud Blanks, the Cultures and Communities Director for Milwaukee Film, about the festival and all the movies to grace home screens! You can grab your ticket to this year's festival by visiting https://mkefilm.org/mhff/events
