A POLYAMOROUS triad is setting out to prove their love is real after their relationship was branded by family members as an “abomination”. Jeffersonville-based triad Jay, 32, Ty, 27, and Sony, 25, have been in a three-way relationship for a year. Their relationship began after Jay introduced the two women and they instantly hit it off. The lovers explain that although they are in one blended relationship, they also have separate “strong” and “intimate” bonds with each other. They describe their relationship as a “closed triad” - meaning that they are not interested in meeting anyone else. When the triad announced their relationship, they were met with mostly disapproving reactions from their families, particularly Jay and Ty, who come from strict religious backgrounds. Ty claims she was told by her family that her relationship was an “abomination” and that she was “going to hell”. Sony said: “We're all brought up to think and believe that monogamy is the way.
