Confederate Statue removal controversy in a small south Georgia town

Commentary, in response to a prior demand to remove a 100+year old statue of a Confederate soldier from a public park in a small south Georgia town. The prior demand(s) included renaming of street signs as well.

After the speaker left, commission members were heard comparing the statue of the lone solder defending his home to Hitler's killing of millions of Jews during the holocaust.
