Beautiful jays in Our Wildlife Oasis - August 2020

I have been waiting for this footage for a really long time. I knew that we had a couple of jays nesting somewhere near our garden and I was hoping to see young ones soon. Finally juveniles came to visit our garden to splash about and have a bath during the hot summer days during the month of August. I remember seeing this bird for the first time a few years ago. It was flying past my window and all I remember was that flash of blue colour which is the part underneath the wings, not very noticeable at first glance. At the time I thought it was an escape pet, an exotic bird. Then I saw it a few more times and looked it up to know what bird it was and came to learn that this bird was called a jay. Nature is incredible. So, yes, I am so chuffed to have footage of the jay making use of our birdbath facilities.
