Energy conservation and emission reduction is that the only way for China’s automotive industry to travel forward. “According to the green development targets and requirements proposed within the Mid- and Long-term Development Plan for Automotive Industry, the industry are going to be that specialize in light-weighting, fuel consumption reduction and therefore the development of recent energy vehicles (NEVs),” said Xu Changming, Deputy Director of State Information Center and Senior Economist.
