Lava tubes on Mars and the Moon could provide shelter for astronauts

A new study published in the journal, Earth-Science Review shows that the tubes on both Mars and the Moon could be longer than 25-miles, with a diameter of three-thousand feet – which could accommodate the tallest buildings on Earth.
