The "staycation" has always been a great option for travelers looking to plan a last-minute getaway close to home, as well as an effective way to minimize expenses and maximize time off. As COVID-19 restrictions continue to lift, more and more travelers are looking to get out of the house. Instead of planning elaborate, weeklong vacations, consumers are opting to stay closer to home and take shorter, more spontaneous trips that give them flexibility, which is renewing interest in staycations.
