360 Beautiful Estuary View

On a stunning June Evening, we walked over to the centre of the Dwyryd Estuary to a remote island ( only accessible when tide out ) called Ynys Gifftan.
Set in the beautiful location of North Wales surrounded by the Snowdonia National Park. We used to holiday and play ' Treasure Island ' here as Children back in the 1970's.
This is my 1st journey back in almost 40 years ! , as tidal alterations have made channel changes in the Estuary more Difficult & deeper to cross, even when the tide is out . The late 1960's TV drama ' The Prisoner ' was filmed here with Portmeirion seen in the distance .
