America's Infant Mortality Rate Hits A Record Low Unlisted Video

Infant mortality has reached a record low in America according to new data.
In 2018, a decline of 4% was reported in infant deaths across the country.
According to UPI, 2018 saw 21,498 deaths compared to 22,341 deaths reported in 2017.
The analysis shows that the mortality rate declined to 5.67 deaths per 1,000 live births in 2018.
That is down 2% from the 2017 rate of 5.79 deaths per 1,000 live births according to the CDC.
Mortality rates are highest for infants born to mothers under the age of 20, at 8.65 deaths per 1,000 births.
