Gino Recchia NBC26 Weather Forecast
A severe thunderstorm watch has been issued for parts of the NBC26 viewing area until 5 AM Sunday. A line of strong to severe thunderstorms are moving through Northwest Wisconsin and have a history of producing large hail, damaging winds, and even a tornado. These storms are expected to pose a risk for gusty winds in excess of 60 mph. The arrival time will be around 1-3 am. The back end of the storms should exit around 5:30 am along lakeshore counties. Sunday looks to have some showers or storms real early in the day with quiet weather for the rest of the day. Temperatures will climb into the lower to mid 80s with mostly sunny skies by the afternoon. Cooler weather will move in from Monday through Thursday with highs in the lower to mid 80s. We may have a few showers or some thunderstorms on Tuesday.
