With more than 15,000 interior lakes and bordering both Lake Superior to the north and Lake Michigan to the east, Wisconsin is famous as a place to observe waterbirds of all types. We are joined by an expert birder, Charles Hagner to talk about his latest field guide the American Birding Association Field Guide to Birds of Wisconsin, and how everyone can relearn to love the outdoors with a new hobby. If you want to learn more about birding and Wisconsin's fauna the Schlitz Audubon Nature Center and Boswell Book Company are co-sponsoring a virtual author event on Thursday, July 16, 7–8:30 pm. Charles will be speaking to other top birding experts, the event is free, but registration is required. To register follow this link here, or visit the Schlitz Audubon Nature Center's or Boswell Books' website as well. American Birding Association Field Guide to Birds of Wisconsin is available at Boswell Book Company, on Amazon, and at Barnes & Noble.
