Deer family joins dad & daughter around backyard campfire

Victoria and her father were enjoying an evening in her parents beautiful backyard when guests arrived. After a long week of work, Tory's parents invited her for dinner and a visit. Once dinner was done they all decided it would be relaxing to sit out back amongst their amazing yard and garden. Lighting the propane camp fire to take the chill off the early summer night, all of a sudden one white tail deer arrived into the back yard. Having an amazing garden of flowers, that one deer seemed to have known all about this buffet of flowers as though he had been before. Deer truly enjoy snacking on flowers, specially roses.Show more

After a few minutes of Tory and her dad watching this deer, so close, and so calm, one more arrived. "Holy cow, there's another one" exclaimed Tory. Having not seen the deer in his back yard before, Tory's dad was also very surprised and extremely excited seeing this within mere metres of his home. What happened next definitely made the night for them both, yet one more young deer appeared, seemingly hiding in the corner making sure it was safe to come out and join his family at the garden buffet. These white tail deer are quite common in wooded areas, including residential neighbourhoods that may be close to forests. Living in the suburb of Vancouver called Port Coquitlam, there are surely plenty of wooded areas near their home. ranging in size up to 150 pounds for males and around 110 pounds for females, they are a fairly small deer.
