WHEN couple Cole and Charisma bought their first home together, they had to think about more than what colour to paint the walls. They are in the process of completely renovating their newly acquired property to make it accessible for Cole who uses a wheelchair. The young couple, from Richmond, Virginia met at a rehabilitation centre for quadriplegics – where Charisma worked and Cole was a patient. After realising they liked each other, the pair started dating and more recently got engaged, with plans to marry the end of 2020. Their YouTube channel Roll with Cole & Charisma has now amassed over 366,000 subscribers. But in spite of the overwhelming number of positive reactions to the videos they share, the couple still receive negative comments and assumptions about their relationship – whether its trolls claiming Charisma is only with Cole for his money – or insinuating remarks about them being an interracial couple.
