Snake rescuer Mohammad Ali was called to rescue a king cobra in Wadakkanchery town in Kerala, India, on May 22.

He caught the world’s deadliest snake easily but noticed that it was dehydrated. He gave it a drink and went on to pour a few buckets of cold water on it.

Ali said: “Its scales had expanded due to heat, so I decided to pour water on it. I seems ro enjoy it.”

The cobra, which was agitated and tried to bite him a few times, enjoyed the bath and calmed down. Local officials took the snake away and released it in a nearby forest later.

Ali’s father Basheer was also a well-known snake catcher.
