Rumble β€” A team of five forest watchers witnessed an amazing feat on May 19 in Silent Valley National Park in South India.

They had returned to their shelter at Kannampally camp around 6 PM. A wild elephant came close to them to pluck jackfruits. It lifted its body and stood on its hind legs to pluck jackfruits with its trunk from a height of 25 feet.

Bijoo Baby, who managed to film it, said he had never seen anything like that during his 12 years as a forest watcher. β€œIt was effortless,” he added.

Elephants are known for their love of jackfruits and often raid villages looking for them.
