Denver mayor announces mandatory furloughs for 7K city employees

Denver Mayor Michael Hancock announced Thursday that about 7,000 non-uniformed city employees will have to take eight mandatory furlough days by the end of the year as the city tries to combat a budget shortfall caused by COVID-19.
