Commonwealth Bistro to reopen Friday with new focus

The seasonal, locally-sourced dishes that Chris Burns created as Commonwealth head chef led the bistro to become a popular spot at 612 Main St. in Covington's Mainstrasse Village. Last year the Burnses expanded by turning an underutilized portion of Commonwealth's 1,200-square-foot rooftop patio into Yonder, a state park-inspired seating area complete with bar and small plate menu options.
