Twitter announced it would allow employees to continue working remotely even after the coronavirus outbreak. The social media company said it would not reopen most offices before September and then employees can then choose to come. It also said no one would travel for business before September and there would be no in-person company events for the rest of 2020. Twitter didn’t disclose the exact number of employees that would be allowed to work from home indefinitely. The COVID-19 pandemic infected more than 4.2 million people globally, leading to strict lockdowns and people working from home.
