This parrot uses crazy straws to build an indoor nest

It's the adventures of Loki (white bellied caique) and Willie (green quaker). Quakers are known for their nest building ability. Willie prefers to use crazy straws. Here he is working on a nest on their bird room door. He picks them up from piles all over the room, flies with them to the door and painstakingly places them just right! He works on this for hours a day. The straws are very sturdy and each one placed strategically. Quite a hard worker!
