Cuomo says Trump was right to criticize WHO handling of coronavirus

New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo said Friday that President Trump was right to criticize the World Health Organization's handling of the global outbreak of the coronavirus.
“Where were the warning signs? Who should have blown the whistle?" Cuomo asked at a daily briefing. “The president has asked this question, and I think he’s right. The president’s answer is the World Health Organization should’ve been blowing the whistle.”
Cuomo said foreign policy isn't his area, but added, "I know the question is right and sometimes the question is more important than the answer.”
President Trump announced last week the U.S. would halt funding to the WHO, saying the group was not aggressive enough in tackling the virus early on — specifically in managing information coming out of China.
