Michael Fish's NBC 26 weather forecast
The main round of snow is over for most of the area, but with these very gusty winds, the snow may still be blowing and drifting in areas that saw the significant accumulation to the north and northwest. A Wind Advisory will be in effect for a large area of the NBC26 viewing area due to the expected wind gusts during the day up to 45 mph at times. It's going to be a chilly day with highs only in the upper-30s with colder wind chills. Tonight may see a sprinkle or flurry in the evening, otherwise it will just be blustery and cold with lows in the mid-20s. Tuesday may start with a little sun, but the clouds will start to build and scattered snow showers will develop in the afternoon. Some minor accumulation is possible under any of these. Highs Tuesday will be in the upper-30s again with blustery winds. Wednesday will also be chilly with a flurry possible. We will see temperatures improve back into the 50s by the weekend.
