Coronavirus Lockdown Haircut Causes Tears of Laughter

Since this coronavirus pandemic has caused a lot of changes for all of us, one thing most are finding is that getting their regular hair cuts is not an option these days. Whether you choose to grow your hair out long, or attempt giving yourself a haircut, some decisions are needing to be made. Like Brent said, whom is the man in this video receiving the haircut," it's tough when you are use to having your hair trimmed frequently". This statement was followed up by "I mean, since I am use to having fairly short hair, when it begins to get longer, it starts to become irritating". Hair flowing over the ears, causing tickling, drives some people to the brink of trying to cut it themselves. This was as Brent stated "almost, but not quite the case", so he asked his amazing wife Elsa if she would give it a go. At first hesitant when she was initially asked a couple weeks ago, she began running her fingers through Brent's hair each day followed up with some giggles. " Hmmm" Brent thought to himself, "why is she giggling". Well in Elsa's mind, she could see this event possibly going horribly wrong. Maybe not wrong, just not quite the way it was hoped to proceed. The day had come, Easter weekend 2020. With the coronavirus social distancing and semi lockdown in Vancouver B.C in full swing, and a beautiful day of sunshine, it was time to "get 'er done." Enough procrastinating, let's do this. Gathering up all the tools of the trade, clippers( the best they had), a brush, a mirror( for those self checks) and of course a Gopro camera, everyone was ready to go. As you will see, Brent has a small issue with trusting his wife, although an amazing wife, with the scissors and clippers. Starting slowly, it was noticed the clippers in hand were not working as well as hoped. A couple little odd sounding trims caused some concern ( for Brent anyhow, Elsa just kept chuckling). Tears began to stream down both Elsa and Brents cheeks, as they could not hold back their emotions, emotions of hilarity. Struggling along until Amanda their daughter came to see how the job was going, she offered up a much better set of clippers. Whew, that surely saved the day from Brent deciding to just shave it all off and go completely bald. Back to the chore at hand, Elsa was really getting the hang of it. No more odd "vrrribt" noises coming from between the clippers and Brent's scalp. A few checks every once in awhile by the man beneath the clippers, and it was finally time to see how everything had turned out. In the end Elsa did a great job. Who would have thought there would actually be tears of hilarity, rather than tears of sadness on this very daring day on Easter Sunday. It must have been the Easter bunnies above bringing good luck to all.
