CDC Reveals Disturbing Data On COVID-19 In American Patients Unlisted Video
New findings from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention align with trends observed so far in the US and abroad.
Namely, fatality rates for the elderly are far higher than for the young. Also, people with underlying health problems are at high risk of developing severe cases.
Business Insider reports more than 429,000 Americans have gotten the novel coronavirus COVID-19.
90% of Americans with severe cases in March had underlying health conditions. Connecticut and Michigan had the highest number of hospitalizations per capita
Older Americans older than 65 fared the worst, with the highest rate of hospitalization per capita.
CDC data also shows black Americans have higher hospitalization rates disproportionate to their share of the US population.
