The same tropical storm that's been hanging out along the California coastline since Tuesday is still bringing rain to Kern County this morning! The heart of the storm is finally moving onshore today, moving off toward Vegas tonight, so we'll notice drier weather returning around lunch time. The mountains will have a chance for scattered showers and pop up thunderstorms through the afternoon hours. The valley will see more sunshine and get a bit warmer, though we'll still feel a little humid today, as Bakersfield looks to top out at 74 degrees with moderate air quality.
