One step into the Magic Time Machine restaurant and you'll be wondering if you are in Texas anymore. With a variety of adventures to take on, and some of the best steak around, The Magic Time Machine is a wild Texas experience you have to see for yourself.

Opened in San Antonio, Texas, in August of 1973, followed by a second location on the north side of Dallas in Addison, Texas, in 1979, The steakhouse is a fun place to visit for special occasions or a random Tuesday night.

The adventure starts the minute you walk in the door, where wait staff greets you in various costumes, ranging from superheroes to classic characters like Spiderman and Captian Jack Sparrow. Each dining room of the restaurant is themed; you might find yourself at the Sweethearts Table, sitting in the Tee-Pee or in a Lunchbox, or on a Carousel.

Once seated, make your way to the salad bar (it's actually a red 1952 MG-TD Roadster salad car) and load up on classic salad bar favorites while you wait for your meal to arrive. The menu is fun. There are regular entrees like slow-roasted prime rib, chicken alfredo, and fried shrimp, along with buffalo chicken and cheese pizza for the kids, but you can also order the Roman Orgy, which is a roast feast with brisket, herb-smoked chicken, fresh fruit, and vegetables brought to your table with great fanfare. Now that's a dinner!
