Cute Albino Baby Elephant Recovers From Snare Ordeal

According to local media, little Khanyisa was rescued from the snare in January when she was just four months old and is currently recovering at the Hoedspruit Elephant Rehabilitation and Development centre in the Kapama Private Game Reserve located in the north-eastern South African province of Mpumalanga.

Reports said the albino calf suffered serious wounds to her ears, cheeks and mouth and she struggled in the snare for several days, with the wire cutting deeper into her skin.
