Generous family gift more than 400 bags of donations to charity

Staff at a charity shop have been left bowled over after a generous family gifted more than 400 bags of donations - including brand new threads worth 'tens of thousands'.

British Heart Foundation in Largs, North Ayrshire received the huge donation, which included high-end clothes and accessories - most with the tags still attached.

The women's items, available in sizes 12, 14 and 16, include a dazzling white Jacques Vert dress which cost £499 and will sell for £100.
