This spectacular footage shows hundreds of ancient amphoras believed to date back to Roman times discovered in a huge underwater cave off the coast of Majorca.
The amphoras which are containers of a design that dates back as far as the Neolithic Period were found in the Fuente de Ses Aiguades underwater cave in the bay of Alcudia located in Majorca in the Spanish Balearic Islands.
They are believed to be from the Roman era, and are being studied by scientists using the latest technology as part of the IASCM (Underwater Archaeological Research in the Caves of Mallorca) Project.
