Whoever said Old Dogs Can’t Learn New tricks never met Brian, the Miniature Dachshund age 14years , also known as a Wiener Dog, Sausage Dog, Or for the more cynical an Ankle Biter.

This Wonder Dog Brian The Magnificent Miniature Dachshund delights in his newfound trick as he runs back and forth collecting socks and bringing them back to his trainer for treats.

It is often thoughts Dachshunds are too Independently minded and that Training Sausage Dogs is Impossible As they would rather do their own thing, but Brian the Wiener Dog proves them wrong with his zest and zeal and Puppy Excitement and Cuteness as he figures out what he has to do to get the treat.

At one point he just wants the treat but after looking around he eventually catches a glance of the sock and this senior dog becomes a Bouncing Puppy with joy again as he notices the socks out of the corner of his eyes before running to get the sock.
The socks are placed at a convenient eye level height for the Small Dachshund to be able to see Which the Clever Trainer placed on a Stool

His Long Sausage Dog body stretches when he stands on his back legs with his front feet lovingly on the cushion his trainer doing the Miniature Dog Training waits Patiently to give Brian the Dachshund a treat for his hard work and job well done.

The Trainer doing the Dog training is using a Purely Positive method where she only Gives Rewards when the Miniature Dachshund Does the Action.

This Purely Positive Training Method doesn’t require any speaking or directions Giving as the Trainer Trust the Sausage Dag’s ability to determine for himself what action gets him a treat for being a Good Boy
