Squirrel reacts to failed call attempt

Watch the priceless reaction of a failed attempt to call a squirrel. The squirrel carries a mouth full of leaves and acorns home to his nest. On his way there, he stops in his tracks as he hears what appears to be a squirrel in distress. The scolding chatter continues, and he looks to investigate the source of the noise.

As the cameraman continues to call the squirrel, he gets confused and lays prone tight to the tree bark above his nest. The caller tries to vary the speed and pitch of the call, but this only serves to highlight the fact that it is fake.

After a few moments, the squirrel realizes the call is fake and probably not dangerous. He crawls down the tree into the safety of his nest.
