The Trump administration's controversial visa and travel bans have now been extended to include more countries.
According to CNN, the bans are among President Donald Trump's signature policies.
The bans now include six new countries that have been blocked from obtaining certain types of visas.
All immigrants from Myanmar, Eritrea, Kyrgyzstan and Nigeria will be banned from the US.
Also, the Department of Homeland Security says Tanzanian and Sudan citizens will no longer be able to apply for the "diversity visas."
Nigeria is Africa's largest economy and the most populous country on the continent with 200 million people. It boasts strong ties to the US.
The extended ban does not affect tourism, business and student travel.
However, it could impact US citizens who want to reunite with family members living in Nigeria, Eritrea, Kyrgyzstan and Myanmar.
